Sixties Candle Holder /Bottle made of porcelain by F. Lli Marchi, Brescia Italy.
A decoration depicting a Pharaoh with his horse and chariot.  The background is in matt glaze and the decoration is in high gloss glaze.
End fifties Fratelli Marchi designed decor Egizia, an Egyptian decoration on modern objects used for table or household use.  A lot of these objects had a formal life as a liqueur bottle.  The label is from a big touristic retailer ‘Cantine Settimo in Arco, the Bresciani province near Lake Garda.  It contained ‘Lacrima Cristi’  the Tears of Christ, a Neapolitan type of wine drunk by the Ancient Romans
The object is not signed.
The condition is excellent.
